I'm an artist. I live in Syracuse, New York. I'm from California originally. I have a standard US accent. A couple of years ago I started watching anime and started to recognize words and phrases. I became really interested in the Japanese language. I'm also interested in language teaching in general, and I have some experimental ideas I want to use to learn Japanese. I want to incorporate it into my artwork and 3d design. I can help with English, especially pronunciation. I will make recordings for you if there are words you have a hard time pronouncing. I can correct English writing too. I like cats, cooking, gardening, video games, animation

Hello, I (30M) am a biologist from the US living in Tokyo with my husband. LGBT+ I speak English (native) and Japanese (fairly fluent). I am interested in many languages but am focusing mostly on French (beginner) right now. I would like to send some messages back and forth, and if we are both comfortable, I would be happy if we could occasionally videocall. I think it is ideal if we can (eventually) become friends comfortable practicing language with each other. About me: I enjoy baking, podcasts, trivia, animals, and biology.
