Hello there! :D Life is too short for one language only! I’m thinking four 😹 and hoping will be more in the future :) Yea I can speak 4 languages: Cantonese, English, Mandarin and Japanese. Language is like a portal, transporting you to different cultures. That’s why I love to learn languages! Although my English isn’t bad, I’d like to have more practice, and yea my Japanese definitely needs some brush up too! It’s so rusted that no WD-40 can help 😹 We can hang out together (I’d love someone to go to art exhibitions / dance shows/operas with me), have good food together, explore the city together.. this way we can expand and improve vocabularies in different aspects, or just do texting is also fine! Either way we can share our lives :) Looking forward to meeting you :D

Hello! 반갑습니다! I'm from China and I want to practice Korean. I'm a big fan of KPOP culture, so I want to learn this language to understand more about KPOP songs or watch TV shows without subtitles. I'm new to this language so I need some time to catch up with it. Any guidance is welcome. I can speak both Mandarin and Cantonese. As students were required to speak Mandarin at school, I don't speak Cantonese as fluently as my relatives. But daily chat is okay:D If you know Korean well and want to learn Chinese, feel free to have conversations with me. 最后,祝大家身体健康,笑口常开哟!(Wish you good health and have a nice day!)

Hi, I just moved to New Zealand. I’d like to improve my spoken English. I also started learning Spanish six months ago. It would be great to have someone to help me learn more Spanish and improve my spoken English. My native language is Cantonese, but I can also speak fluent Mandarin. I’d be happy to teach you either of them. :)

Hello! I'm Diana, nice to meet you. I have started learning Japanese a while ago with Duolingo, just passed the 300+ day mark and still going on... figure that it might help to learn if I can meet some new, real friends who speak Japanese! I work in an in international finance company originated from Japan, so it means a lot for me to understand more about the language. Can you help me surprise my colleagues if I speak a bit of Japanese to them? Currently based on London, I was born and raised in Hong Kong, that's why I'm fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin as my native languages. I can help you polish these languages or we can start from scratch: Konnichiwa . Hello . 您好 . Ni Hao! Suggest we can speak for 30 min every (or every other) Sat / Sun at a time available for both of us. We can talk about different hobbies and lifestyles, e.g. food, music, drama, art, tennis, body fitness, travel, news, weather, or even relationship & philosophy (we can try!)...and the list goes on. Ping me a message and we can start from there!

Hi! I’m from Hong Kong and arrived in Stockholm this April. I’ll be in Sweden for about a year. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors, and I’m planning to do the Kungsleden. Happy to meet new friends for language exchange or a simple walk.

Hi everyone, I am CW. I grew up and studied in Auckland and have been working here for over 10 years. I want to improve my fluency in Mandarin to communicate better when I visit China. I believe the best way to learn is to talk and interact in person—the more practice we have, the more fluent we'll be! I am a native Cantonese speaker and can help you converse in either Cantonese or English. Ideally, I am looking to meet up in East Auckland, but the CBD is also a possibility.
