Born and raised in Germany, lived for a number of years in Scotland, now for 20 years in Sweden. Working as an English-language science editor. I am currently studying Mandarin on the side. Formal training I get in class, but I am in dear need of speaking practice. It still sounds terrible and requires a lot of gesturing and grimacing, but I can now have a conversation about most topics. At least I am past the stage where a chat is limited to 我喜欢喝茶。As per course level, I should be somewhere between B1 and B2, but that depends a lot on the topic. I can offer more or less native level German, English and Swedish in return. (And free tickets to my exercise classes). Greetings friend! i'm native swedish and english is technically my second language but its better than my swedish. I'd like to learn japanese and is at a begínner level if you could call it that. My hobbys are anime, gaming, going to the gym, martial art, music. I mainly use discord for communication but has whatsapp, messenger, skype, and can compromise if you want to use something you find more comfortable or something like that. I´m Sini, a social sciences student and passionate traveller with a love for cultures and languages around the world. Hi, I am Finnish language enthusiast currently living in Helsinki. I would personally consider my self a self-taught linguist. I am native Swedish and Finnish Speaker (C2), have C1 in English, and B1 in Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. My Vietnamese is quite poor and German is okay A2. I am aiming to pass all the JLPT-tests. I will start from N5. in 2025 I plan to attend HSK3 and maybe HSKK middle level. At some point I would also like to have a grade 3 in TOPIK (Korean language test) I have been to university exchange in South Korea twice (Hallym University, 08-12/2016; Kyung Hee University 08/2020-05/2021) and lately I returned from a 9 month stay attending Chinese classes at National Taiwan Normal University (08/2023-05/2024). I have also travelled to Hong Kong, Japan, and Vietnam for some 2-3 days each. Studying languages and meeting people in the process is a life style choice I made at the age of 22 (now I am 32). I am happy to help people in learning languages so if that is what you want we could meet and then I see what I can do.

Hi, I am a 15 year old girl from Sweden. I am looking to learn Russian because I think the language sounds nice. My native language is Swedish but I have been speaking english for years, I learnt english through gaming. I don't wanna say my name but my friends usually call me Liv or Nana. I am socially awkward, please be patient. I like anime and music, I really like Studio Ghibli, Bludgeoning death angel dokuro-chan, serial experiments lain and stuff like that. My favorite band right now is probably Chiodos. I really like pandas and collect everything panda, I have so many panda plushies. I really like Lucifer Valentine's films. I am also mixed, my dad is from Colombia but my mom is Swedish and Sweden is where I have always lived. Despite my dad being fully Colombian, I actually don't speak a word of Spanish. I also like gaming, especially story games like Beyond two souls, Detroit: become human and life is strange. I don't have many friends in real life, so when I was around the age of 10 I started making friends online instead! I also collect DVDs and CDs. I am totally new to learning other languages and I'd prefer to meet people only around my own age, but it's okay if not. I hope this wasn't too much to read XD
