My name is Mihaela, and I’m a native Romanian speaker fluent in both Romanian and English. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a strong background in education, advising, career coaching, HR, and finance. I truly enjoy helping others learn and grow. I'm passionate about languages and cultural exchange, and I’d love to support anyone who is learning English or Romanian. I’m patient, organized, and enjoy meaningful conversations. In my free time, I love listening to nature sounds, exploring new topics, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I'm looking forward to helping you improve your language skills! 🔹 Even if your native language is not on my list, feel free to message me if you want to practice English. I'm happy to help! I’m currently at a basic level in all the languages on my list. I’m here to improve step by step and would love to exchange with patient and friendly partners. Availability: Because of my work schedule during the week, I'm usually available for practice, conversations, and learning on Friday evenings, and weekends. For anyone outside the USA, I'm happy to connect during these times as well. For those within the USA, we can coordinate around our shared time zones, possibly even during the week. Preferred First Contact Please reach out by email first. This allows us to learn about each other’s expectations and availability. After that, we can move on to Teams or Zoom video meetings — so please be camera ready. If you’re camera-shy, don’t worry — I totally understand. I’m camera-shy too, but I’ve learned that to grow and improve, I need to step outside my comfort zone. We’re in this together, and since we’re not meeting in person, using a camera really helps make our communication more effective. Phone & App Use For the purpose of learning, I prefer not to use my personal phone for calls or texts. I also don’t use apps like LINE or WhatsApp that require sharing a personal phone number. Thank you for understanding. Looking forward to connecting and supporting each other’s language learning journey! Hello every one! I am 51 and I teach (religion, christian religion, in fact, I'm a priest) in a Romanian high school. I am studying English, the most, but I also need to know Japanese, Spanish, Greek, French, Arabic and Russian (being in these very beginner). Finally, for my friends and for me, of course, I fell in love with these languages and their cultures. Thanks anyone who can help! (Daniel Ioan Matei)

Seeking South Korean male pen pal (30+) — fluent in thought, fond of metaphor, fearless with ink Translator by trade (ahimè, deadlines do haunt), academic by pedigree, and baroque music enthusiast by existential necessity. Fluent in English, Italian (and not only), and selective silence. Half my life unfolded abroad — by choice, not accident — and lately I find myself gravitating toward South Korea: not for K-drama plotlines, but for real cultural dialogue, the kind that unfolds slowly, one letter at a time. I’m not here for flirting (though I shan’t faint at a compliment) nor casual "hey" messages that evaporate before the ink dries. Instead, I’m hoping to exchange letters — actual letters — with a South Korean gentleman, ideally 30+, curious, thoughtful, and able to spell “metaphor” without using an emoji. 🖋️ Bonus points if: • You’ve made peace with absurdity • Can define chiaroscuro before your first sip of coffee (or convincingly pretend) • Prefer letters that breathe over chats that buzz • You suspect the weather has a personality and feel compelled to describe it accordingly No need for perfect English — just a mind curious enough to wander and a pen willing to follow. You can write in English, Italian, or Spanish — with a side of Korean, if you're generous. Let’s write like it’s 1895 — minus the corsets, plus the nuance. Use words. Use them well. At your peril.
