I've been studying Japanese on my own for a while, but I've recently realized just how bad my typing/speaking skills are, so I'm hoping for a chance to improve them by talking with real people. My reading abilities are OK, but I'm very bad with actually writing sentences, so apologies in advance if my Japanese is awkward or doesn't make sense. I would also prefer text based conversation for now, though I aim to get practice and eventually get out of my comfort zone. As for my hobbies, I like to draw, read, and watch movies. I'm a lover of nature, art, and generally learning about the world and other people. I'm also always looking for new music to listen to if you have anything to share. Hopefully we can get along!

Hi! My name is Jelena and I’m from Poland. I’m fluent in English, which I mostly learned through the internet by using it in real conversations, watching content, and immersing myself in the language rather than studying it only from textbooks. I also studied Japanese for about a year some time ago, which gave me some insight into learning Asian languages. Now I’d love to learn Mandarin Chinese. My main goal is to learn how to speak and read Chinese, while also getting to know the culture better. In my free time, I enjoy playing computer games, reading books, sewing, and learning new skills. Hello, I'm Justyna from Wroclaw, Poland :) I'm a traveler, software engineer, dancer and I also play board and RPG games. I'm into korean culture, cuisine, dramas and have been learning that language for a little bit now. I had really great time in Seoul, Busan, Sokcho, Gyeongju, Daegu and Jeju on my trips there, so I'm looking forward to gain more fluency in this language before going to Korea again and to make friends on the way :) All I'm looking for on this site is a Korean person, that would assist me with my self-study.
