However, I was born in America so I was learning Thai, Lao, and English at the same time. My grandmother passed away when I was 14, so since then I don’t speak it that often anymore. Hello. I am a 42 yr old man who has traveled to Europe many times. I graduated with a degree in International Business but there is no opportunities here in Iowa that will allow me to gain the experience I needed.
I have family in France and I have studied French, Spanish, Russian, and very little Ukrainian.
I am hoping to develop my fluency in the languages I had studied to help me to achieve my goal to getting a job and live in Europe.

I am a Laotian (Lao American) and can with you to teach Lao and/or help you practice English as well.
I am learning Hangeul and basic Korean now. My goal is to be able to speak it well within a year. After that, I also plan to learn Japanese. I would love to travel to Korea and Japan soon.
For Japanese, I'm barely learning the basic of Hiragana and Katakana (Kanji might come later in the future). I would like to experience Japanese culture in Japan and also attend (A Laos festival in Tokyo).
For Korea, I plan to visit maybe this year or next year (Busan and Seoul).
I'm working on a eLearning language site - and will create a book project to help "Korean speakers learn Lao" - same goes for Japanese speakers. If you're interested in my helping to contribute to my course/book project (as a tester, graphic designer, language editor, etc), please let me know!
