I honestly want to be one number of the guroub.I want to get knowledge of culture that is different from my country.And what I mostly want to learn is to improve my spoken English and pass my university exams.

Jestem Amerykaninem, mieszkam we Wrocławiu. Lubię gry planszowe, kino, muzykę, książki, weganizm. Moja żona jest Polką (spotkaliśmy się przez język Esperanto). Umiem mówić i czytać po polsku, ale niestety często słuchanie jest trudne dla mnie: ja mam szumy w uszach od dawna. (Poza tym, ja słabo słyszę wyższych frekwencji, ale szumy w uszach to gorszy problem, więc aparaty słuchowe nie bardzo pomagają.) Więc często słabo słyszę mowy. W sytuacjach głośnych (n.p. w restauracji) albo jak wiele ludzi mówi jednocześnie, albo ktoś mówi za cicho, ja słabo rozumiem, nawet po angielsku. Jeśli ktoś mówi wyraźnie, nie za szybko, i jest dobra akustyka, ja mogę rozumieć dobrze. N.p. dość dobrze rozumiem różne podkasty po polsku. Więc wolę rozmawiać z kimś, który nie mówi bardzo cicho. Chętnie spotkałbym z kimś żeby spróbować tandem (angielski-polski albo Esperanto-polski), idealnie jeśli blisko centrum.

Hi, I'm learning German mainly as a personal challenge. And bit of Italian & Esperanto, but really I'm not good at either of those! I'm mainly here for the German, but I'm open to Italian enquiries, and all Esperantists are naturally my friends and comrades. I'm a native English speaker living in England, I grew up in Ireland, so I have a slight Irish accent. I am interested in current events, the environment and alternative music, amongst other things.
