A citizen of the world. Born in Greece, moved to England, and settled in France — hopefully! As we never truly "master" a language — not even our native one — and even less the autodidacts like myself, I'm always in search of "perfection". I fell in love with English at a very young age, and I have always been more comfortable communicating in it than in French, even while in France — embarrassing, I know.😉 After more than a decade living abroad, it defamiliarized me with my native tongue; however, I'm not here to reconnect with Greek (though I could help those interested in speaking it), but to practice my English (or even French) while meeting people from all around the globe.

Hello! Here's Apostolia from Greece. I'm 49 years old and I love literature and creative writing. I have studied French literature in the university Paris 3, but it's a long time since then and I'm about to forget the language. The same and worst is happening with my english. I understand almost everything I read or hear ( for the second it depends on many factories as the speed of the speech, the accent etc. ), but I can't speak. I'm Giannis, I'm from Cyprus, so naturally my native language is greek. I would consider myself fluent/close to native in English due to my long term exposure to English through school, friends and all kinds of media(games, social media etc). I know a good chunk of Italian and French, to be specific I have a B1 level certificate for both. Right now, I'm learning mandarin alongside with Korean, so that in the future I could go and study in Korea or China or Hong Kong or Singapore.(I know I don't have a specific country). PS: I love reading manhwa/manhua and manga. And listening to music (kpop/pop) is something I do on the daily. PS 2: I was also learning Japanese for a year or so but it was on Duolingo so I didn't learn much.
