I'm very big into writing and reading, as I am an English major currently in my first year. My dream is to be an English teacher in Japan, as I've always been infatuated with Japanese history in particular. Since I was a teenager, I've loved studying history. At some point I ended up reading into Japanese history and it instantly interested me more so than any other kind of history. My interest in Japanese history and Japanese culture as a whole has made me want to help teach English in Japan and experience the culture myself. For that reason, I wish to learn Japanese before I graduate. I hope to be relatively fluent and able to pass a couple of the JLPT tests in a year or two. That's why I believe having a language partner will further my understanding of Japanese immensely. Overall, I'm a pretty relaxed person and am open to talking about anything and everything. I enjoy listening to other's experiences and finding out more about them.
