I have always been interested in languages and devoted a large part of my life to learning and using Chinese (Mandarin). I spent 15 years in China, working there as an interpreter. I visited Latvia last summer and was mesmerized by the language - very different from anything I expected, but with hints of hidden similarity to my native Polish (often misleading, but that makes it even more interesting). I started learning it and also decided to learn more about Latvia, and would love to find someone to help me become more proficient. I'm obviously a beginner, but quite eager to make progress. I offer Polish and Chinese in exchange.

Hooola! (^０^)ノ soy un chico español que vive en Varsovia. Me gusta leer, el yoga y los bailes latinos. Busco una persona seria y con compromiso con la que practicar conversación en polaco. Mi nivel es A2 queriendo llegar al B1. Puedo conversar en Español con personas con nivel principiante (un, dos, tres,...) o avanzado (en un lugar de la Mancha, de cuyo nombre no quiero acordarme...) pero no soy profesor ni tengo experiencia enseñando idiomas. Potrafię rozmawiać po hiszpańsku z osobami na poziomie początkującym (jeden, dwa, trzy,...) lub zaawansowanym (Litwo! Ojczyzno moja! ty jesteś jak zdrowie...) Nie jestem nauczycielem i nie mam doświadczenia w nauczaniu języków. Moja dyspozycyjność jest od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach porannych i popołudniowych. On-line. 1 godzina tygodniowo.

Hi, I’m Krzysztof! I’m learning English because I love the language, especially British English. My goal is to become fluent, and I’m now focusing on writing and speaking. I'm a huge dog lover, and I have two of them. I've been trying to train them, but, well... inconsistency 😅. I do yoga regularly, and running and cycling not so regularly 😉. Hi! My name's Stanisław and I'm 20 years old. I'm a Pole form Bydgoszcz 👋 Currently I live and study in Poznań, at Adam Mickiewicz University. My major is Arabic studies 🕌 I really enjoy learning languages and everything about languages, which is my biggest hobby! Apart from that I love genealogy and history (my family tree has around 1000 profiles now), poetry, playing guitar, birdwatching and I'm always excited to learn something new about us humans and understand us deeper. Russian is a language I feel I can speak from the heart, unlike English and I want to be able to write poetry in it in the future. I also have family in Russia 🇷🇺 Ukrainian is my great grandmother's language and one my paternal grandpa and his family were familiar with apart from Polish, so I want to get fluent in it so that I could pay respect to my roots in some way. There's still some of my relatives living there and I'd love to connect with them this way 🇺🇦 Arabic is a language I'm passionate about, especially when it comes to dialects and dialectology. At the university I usually study MSA (الفصحى), but what my catched my heart first was the Syrian dialect, especially that of the coast 🇸🇾 Turkish I'm studying due to my major and even though I won't be studying it no more begining with this semestre, I really liked it and would want to be able to communicate in it on a basic level 🇹🇷 I'd also like to pick up some Crimean Tatar in the meanwhile 🙂
