Hi, l’m Ariel, I’m from Sichuan, China. My first language is Sichuanese which is a dialect from southwest of China. I do speak fluently in Mandarin of course.I’m looking for a study buddy as I have a very short attention span and I have had no motivation and it’s been so hard for me to focus. I wanna find someone who can help each other to be productive and honestly makes studying fun. I love British English and I’m currently live in New Zealand. Kia ora! I'm a professional migrant! I arrived in Dunedin, New Zealand, about 10 months ago and am working at a university. I have lived in Japan and can speak Japanese. (I did my PhD in Japan.) I'd like to practice my English. My English is broken, and unfortunately, when I attempt to speak, I tend to make very long and technical sentences, as I've learned English primarily by reading (scientific/academic) books. I'm also open to Japanese language exchange as I'm losing my skills. (I'm afraid my Japanese is also broken). I like science, drawing and running. I'm also a self-taught artist who wants to write and illustrate a children's book one day. I'm currently training for the Dunedin marathon, and these days, I encourage myself to read more instead of wasting my time on social media so as not to ruin my already-too-short attention span any more.
