Hello, my name is Hilarie, I'm 20 years old and I live in Auckland, New Zealand. My native language is English. I like to write, listen to music, and go for walks, sometimes all at the same time. My mum says I should really start speaking Chinese, but I currently at most can send voice messages. If you want to chat on WeChat or over video call, feel free to message me. However, I already have a couple of language partners so we may not talk often. My Chinese level might be HSK3. HSK3。 + my pfp is a photo I took when I was in Zhuhai, Guangdong. + 我pfp是在珠海拍的

My mother tongue is Mandarin Chinese. I was born and raised in China, so I’m very familiar with the language and culture. I hold both an undergraduate and a master’s degree, and I’ve worked as a teacher in China. I also have a Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate and experience teaching Mandarin to English speakers. I can teach patiently and skillfully, and I even know a bit of Chinese calligraphy. No matter your current level of Chinese, you’re welcome, so don’t worry! I’m currently living in New Zealand. I can speak English, but I’m not yet fluent enough to chat smoothly with locals. My learning goal is to improve my speaking and listening skills, so it would be great if you’re familiar with New Zealand culture. My hobbies include playing badminton, hiking, watching movies, reading, traveling, and learning about other cultures. I’d prefer to have voice calls at early stage, and if we feel comfortable, we can arrange to meet face-to-face to learn languages if possible. I’m thinking about 1 hour once a week, but I’m open to other ideas. If you’re interested in a language exchange, feel free to send me a message! :)

I've been learning Spanish for 15 years but am not fluent. I'm retired and i like to travel, attend the theatre, garden and am trying to learn photography. I live with my husband and two cats in the center of Auckland. I would like to exchange my English for Spanish usually early in the morning as we are 12 hours ahead of Spain. eg; 2000 in Spain is 0800 in Auckland. I have attended university and also gained a teaching qualification for teaching English as a second language but have only done some voluntary teaching of immigrants and refugees. I would like exchange my English for Spanish as I need to practice to become more fluent.
