Hai dan apa khabar! I'm Lawrence, a professional poet living in Malaysia's Klang Valley, where I teach people to write poetry. I like cycling every day, and I am a home-maker (like a 'housewife' in the old thinking!). I don't have a regular person to practice Malay speaking and listening with. I would prefer somebody who is working in education as I want go far beyond vocabulary; I want to pass my PR test for living in Malaysia. I used to teach English and am also working as a proofreader and copy-editor; my English level is almost as high as it is possible to be! I would like to practise Malayu/English for one hour per week: 30 minutes English, 30 minutes Malayu. I forget many words and phrases, so I need a partner who is patient with me. Saya ingin berlatih Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Inggeris selama satu jam seminggu: 30 minit Bahasa Inggeris, 30 minit Bahasa Melayu.

I'm staying in Malaysia. I moved here 1.5 years ago. I started learning Chinese 3 months ago. It would be hard to do conversation in Chinese. I wanna practice my pronunciation. If you talk with me in Chinese, it would be helpful😊 I like playing badminton, hiking, watching Netflix and singing. I can teach Japanese. We can talk online and offline. **Not interested in dating**

Ello, my nickname is Nyx. I'm currently pursuing degree in computer science, on my second year and required to learn mandarin as one of the course. I'm a Malaysian, can speak both Malay and English though I'm not really that good in both of them as I barely communicate with people. Though I'm pretty talkative in social media. Insecurity maybe? Idk tbh. My hobbies pretty much being delulu...nah just kidding. I don't have hobbies cause I lose interest in most of the things though I do interested in making friends since I'm a loner. I'm pretty open minded and love to discuss and thinking why people do certain things in certain way. My biggest red flag is I love many things but never put effort to it. My biggest green flag is I don't even know. Anyways, hit me up if you wanna be friends with an introvert who's talkative behind the phone. Peace out

Hi! I'm Shin, currently living in Kuala Lumpur. I'm looking for a language exchange partner to practice English in a casual, natural way. I can help you learn Japanese — whether you're a complete beginner or already studying, I'd love to support you. In return, I want to improve my English through real conversations, not textbook exercises. My ideal style is meeting at a cafe over tea or coffee, or walking around the city while chatting. I'm also really curious about Malaysian culture, food, and daily life, so I'd love to hear your stories too. Feel free to message me anytime!

Hello! My name is Nikki and I'm from Malaysia. I'm a recent graduate in psychology, and I love reading books, listening to music, and watching TV shows! I'm a heritage Mandarin speaker, but I have a very limited vocabulary, especially in reading and writing. Recently, I have begun to self-study the HSK syllabi and have completed HSK3. I would love to improve my Mandarin typing and conversational skills through the platform and make some friends along the way. I can help those who are seeking to practice their English skills as well! I may not be the best person to explain grammar rules, but I can help point out if your sentence makes sense or if they might need some improvements. Additionally, I do understand that many of us are students and/or work while we're learning these languages, so, I do not expect instant responses and am happy with keeping a slow conversation pace :)

Hi, I used to study independently but im rusty in both languages that Im currently learning because I have not been able to practice it in my daily life since Im busy working ㅠ. Having friends that can chat and talk with me in those respective languages might help. I used to study in the UK for 3 years so I can say Im quite fluent in English. I think learning through daily conversations work best~! Im also a huge animal lover so if you are too, thats a plus point since I like to yap about animals for hours ~
