Hallo! Ich heiße Ali und komme aus Kurdistan. Wegen politischer Verfolgung, Unterdrückung und Gewalt durch den türkischen Staat musste ich meine Heimat verlassen. Jetzt lebe ich in der Schweiz und versuche, mein Leben neu aufzubauen. Ich bin sehr motiviert, Deutsch zu lernen und mich in die Gesellschaft zu integrieren. I was born and living in the german part of switzerland. And Im learning Chinese(Mandarin) for fun because I simply love the language. Hopefully my chinese will be good enough one day to watch movies and understand songs. My motherlanguage is swiss-german, but I am also fluent in "german-german". Hallo mitenand. Ich bien Spanier. Ich lebe vor ein Jahre in der Schweiz und Ich have ein Deustch Niveau zwischen A2 und B!. Ich brauche mehr sprechen und meine Vokabular vermehren Im Austausch spreche ich ein sehr gut Spanisch als Muttersprache und katalanisch auch. Ich habe ein gut Englisch Niveau wenn wir in eine gemeinsame Sprache sprechen Sollen.

Hi y'all. I am a Swiss-Italian student with Arab roots. My mother tounge is Italian, i can both write and speak Italian pretty comfortably. My second best language is English as I think i can both write and speak quite well. For my third i can speak Arab like a native but i can't read it as i haven't been taught by my parents. I've been studying Japanese for a while now and I haven't really had the chance to practice so I thought this place would be the best way. My main hobbies are drawing, playing videogames, basketball and reading.

Hello. My name is Rowena and I am eager to practice speaking French! I have two sons and they speak French but sadly, they are not comfortable to practice with me. I guess that's how it is since they grew up understanding me but when I try to speak French, they don't :( So I have to find other ways to learn. I think that with constant practice I can finally be more fluent and hopefully fill the gaps in my vocabulary. I am originally from the Philippines and I moved to NYC in my twenties and started a family there. We now live in Geneva and the boys are in the Swiss school system so they quickly picked up the language. Je fais du sport, je joue au tennis et je pratique le Crossfit. J'aime cuisiner et fais du pain aussi. I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys in English and French. I'm sure it'll be a challenge and super fun. à bientôt!
