Hello! I’m Christoforos, a 23-year-old Greek working at CERN! I’m looking for French-speaking (and possibly Japanese-speaking) people to have discussions with to practice these languages. I love learning languages and am a huge fan of immersion-based learning! My Languages: Greek: Native tongue. English: C2 level (Cambridge); I’ve been using it academically and professionally for many years. Japanese: Officially at N4 level, but my understanding is higher due to consuming extensive content over the past four years, traveling to Japan, and speaking the language. I’m well-versed in Japanese history and have a deep passion for Japanese culture (beyond just anime!). French: I reached B2 level at 16yo but have since forgotten much. I restarted learning a few months ago and improving it is my current focus! I list some topics below in which we can have an interesting conversation in French and any other language (or combination of languages)! Hi! I’m open minded and I love to learn about everything in life, specially about new cultures. I speak fluently Spanish, French and English and I would love to practice my English because I don’t use it anymore and I have the feeling it’s getting worse :) I enjoy simple things like walking around, the nature, doing yoga or swimming… and I love laughing! :) I also would like to learn some Japanese, I will most probably go for holidays this year to Japan and I would like to be able to learn little bit :)

My mother tongue is German, I’m also fluent in English. I am currently learning Korean and trying to practice more via texting, I have a teacher but am looking for something to keep me occupied in short bursts in between. Hola ! Je cherche une personne sympa pour pratiquer mon espagnol. J’ai un niveau intermédiaire, mais je manque de pratique à l’oral 🙂 L’idée serait d’échanger de façon simple et détendue, autour d’un café ou en appel. Ma langue maternelle est le français, mais j’ai aussi un bon niveau d’anglais. ¡Hola! Busco a alguien simpático/a para practicar mi español. Tengo un nivel intermedio, pero me falta práctica al hablar 🙂 La idea sería conversar de forma simple y relajada, por ejemplo tomando un café o por llamada. Mi lengua materna es el francés, pero también tengo un buen nivel de inglés.
