Hi, I’m Tori, 24, originally from Poland but raised in the Canary Islands. I’m currently living in Switzerland—I work in Zurich and live in the canton of Lucerne. I’m an English and Spanish teacher, and I also spent a year in China on a Confucius Institute scholarship, where I could improve my Mandarin (HSK 4). Even so, I believe it’s always great to keep practicing languages in a relaxed, casual way. I’d love to connect with people from around the world to practice English, German or Chinese, and I’d be happy to help you with Spanish, English, or Polish too 😊 In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, yoga, music (including anime soundtracks and some K-pop), learning languages, also learning in general and walking my dog. Hey, my name's Lily, I'm 16 and currently I'm a boarding student in Switzerland. I'm planning on applying to universities in France, and in general, I've always liked it as a language, so I'm really trying to get better at it. Level wise it's hard to say, I'd approximate myself at around a B1, while I'm a native speaker (C1/C2) in English and probably around the same for Chinese. We can talk about anything really, hobby wise I like to draw, read, bike, do some hockey, and fun fact, my music taste is mostly rock, so bands like QOTSA, Gorillaz, Weezers, etc. But ofc it depends on my mood and such. Bonjour, je suis Lily, J'ai 16 ans et en ce moment je suis dans un internat en Suisse. J'ai envie apprendre une licence en France après mon graduation, et en général, j'ai toujours aimé cette langue, donc j'essayerai l'améliore. Pour mon niveau, je devine qu'il est approximativement à B1, tandis qu'un Anglais, je suis une native, donc C1 ou C2. Nous pouvons papoter avec de pleins de sujets, mes loisirs préférées sont dessiner, lire, faire du hockey. Je vais donner un anecdote: mon style de musique est variée mais principalement le rock par exemples QOTSA, Gorillaz, Weezers, etc.
