I'm a second year student at the University of Montreal and I'm doing and I'm doing a bachelor's degree in East asian studies. I have a lot of interest in languages and one of my dreams is to traval to South Korea. Just like most of teenagers (even tho I'm not anymore) I listenned to A LOT of K-pop. I think that learning more about Korean history is a good way to understand and become accustomed to the language. I’d like to practice my korean speech so you can add me on kakaotalk.

I am a retired IT Security specialist who now does tutoring (mostly for various Asian students) and Homestay with 3 - 4 foreign students living here at any given time. My hobbies are musician, renovations, sketching, cooking, photography, mycology (mushrooms) and motorcycling. I am interested in connecting with a mature woman ( I am 63) for conversation and cultural exchange. I am happy to help coach or basic tutor in English as well as interested in learning basic survival Japanese/Korean/Chinese etc. I was born in England but call Canada my home. My foreign language skills are nil (but I am good at cooking!) and I welcome someone who has little or no English skills as well. I am also interested in any other languages since I am hosting high school and university students from many countries. Look forward to discovering the world! (Not looking for a relationship - just friendship and cultural exploration)
Bonjour! Hello! Hallo!
I live in Canada and I would like to improve my level of German, as well as learn more about other cultures. I am a native French speaker who is also fluent in English. I like puzzles, music (listening and playing), hiking, cycling, and travelling, among other things.
I was first interested in learning German when I went to Switzerland, because I wanted to go back and visit the German-speaking part of the country. Now I know that the German I started to learn is quite different from Swiss German, but learning it made me interested in linguistics in general. Eventually, I would like to improve my Japanese and my Spanish, and to start learning Inuktitut and a Scandinavian language.
I'd be very glad to help you practice your French and/or your English. If I could have someone to practice my German or just to learn about the ways of life in other places on Earth in exchange, that would be awesome! Danke, bis bald :)
