Hello! I'm studying Japanese. I'm still basic in it, but if I had someone to help me practice a bit, especially reading, it would be very useful. I'm a language teacher/tutor, so I'm able to teach Portuguese (mainly Brazilian). Practicing English is fine, too. I enjoy communicating in English. The exchanges can be through text and/or voice call. I don't do video calls.

I'm a Spanish / BR Portuguese native speaker, from the border between Uruguay and Brazil. I lived for several years in Argentina, too, where I studied film. I'm also fluent in English (C2 certified) and Italian / French (estimated C1 level for both). I want to practice FR/IT as I plan on taking the C2 level exams in November. I have experience tutoring languages and have done a few exchanges in the past. My main interests are: languages and cultures (esp. romance ones), the arts such as music and film, healing arts such as yoga and meditation, martial arts, psychology/consciousness, etc. What works for me: -We meet up using google meet (video optional) and converse. We can talk about whatever comes up naturally or choose a topic beforehand. I'm pretty conversationalist, I rarely run out of things to say or questions to ask. This can be once or twice a week for one to two hours were we stricly use one language for half the time and the other for the other half. -We share a google document where we note down any mistakes or suggestions as they come up in conversation. We can also practice reading, writing, grammar etc. if desired. I personally enjoy focusing on phonetics/ pronunciation and have done a few training courses on the matter, if relevant.

I’m a Philosophy teacher in Brazil and I’m currently studying Ancient Greek and Latin. I have lived in America during my teen years, so I was able to learn English and develop it over the years. I also had 3 years of experience in teaching English in Brazil. I have studied Italian in high school and college, so I’m able to read it quite well, but I'm lacking in my speaking and writings skills.
