Hello. I live in Sammamish and am continuing to learn Spanish after studying the language in high school and college, then revisiting it a few times over the years. I'm aiming to be able to keep up a conversation. I'd love to converse in English and Spanish with someone and am happy to make the trip to Seattle to grab a coffee or something.

I’ve been practicing Mandarin for about 4 years now and am a decent intermediate conversationalist. Unfortunately I’m basically illiterate so I’m really only interested in face to face or video conversations and exchange. In my free time I enjoy outdoors activities, exercise, and museums/galleries. I’ve recently taken up the piano but I’m not very good. Anyone interested in a Mandarin/English exchange please say hello!
I was born and raised in the USA. I moved to Seattle after graduating college and work at a large tech company. I enjoy reading, video games, biking, hiking, and more.
I studied Japanese in college but it never really stuck. My wife and visited Japan last year. We were supposed to go to China where she was going to show of a game her company makes but there was something wrong with our visas so we decided to go to Japan. It was a great trip and inspired me to give learning Japanese another chance.

Anyway, I’m thinking about becoming a Japanese - English translator in the future, but can’t quite yet. That’s why I joined this site! If you’re looking for a talking partner or a friend, please shoot me a message! Of course I’ll help with English practice too!
