I am a retired woman and a new grandmother. I live in Seattle washington, one of the most beautiful states in the United States. I would like to practice and improve my Spanish and help you with english. I'd like to work seriously together, make corrections, learn more grammar, vocabulary and expressions. I enjoy traveling- before covid, gardening, volunteering, playing with my granddaughter, games visiting with friends, walking and easy hikes. I speak fluent English as a native English speaker. I have studied Spanish through classes and traveling. I am trying again, to improve my spanish. I visit a good friend in Oaxaca Mexico every year. My Spanish improves during that week and then falls back down for the rest of the year! Before retiring, I was a pediatric occupational therapist. I worked in hospitals and public schools. I'd really like to practice with a native Spanish speaker who wants to seriously focus on helping each other improve language. For me, conversation will be a vehicle to learn about each other's culture but more so to practice and learn a higher level of Spanish and English. I enjoy talking about politics, culture, children, food, travel, gardening, most anything. Perhaps we can each watch a bilingual TED talk or YouTube and chat about it.

I'm a doctor in Seattle. Married with one adult son. I've recently started learning improv performance. I had planned a trip to Japan in 2020 but that got cancelled by COVID. Hoping to go in winter 2025 and would love to be able to manage some casual conversation. I've been learning some basic grammar and kanji with WaniKani but haven't had a chance for conversation practice.
