I have lived in Taipei for three years because of my family's work. Since coming to Taiwan, I have been learning Chinese (traditional characters). Now my reading ability is getting better and better, but my listening and speaking skills are still not very good. I hope to find friends for language exchange. A Nordic man lost in Taipei, looking to improve his Mandarin and to meet new people. While English is not my first language, I'm fluent in it. I don't believe in language exchange over some messenger, but prefer to meet in person in a coffee shop or the like. Spending already too much time online and could use any reason to leave home. Taking long walks is also something I like, whenever the weather allows. Otherwise I do enjoy learning (like reading, podcasts) and thinking (programming, board games,...). Having conversations over things that goes deep with people, like feelings and thoughts, attracts me more than so-called practical concerns (job, income, title, achievement, anything that society in general use to weigh your "worth") I like drip coffee, playing badminton, video gaming, weight lifting, meditation, spirituality, and life!
